Danger, danger …
KGTV reporter Ben Higgins was reporting live from Tucson after the San Diego Aztecs achieved their first NCAA tournament win by beating the Northern Colorado Bears 68-50, when things took a decidedly dangerous turn.
As Higgins was giving his live report, a white SUV can be seen backing up — with the reporter directly in the vehicle’s path. Obviously unaware of the situation, he calmly discusses the game while the car continues to move in his direction.
Possible tragedy was overted when an off-camera associate nudged him out of the way and banged on the car to get the driver’s attention. The reporter let out a surprised “ohhh” before the shot went dark.
