Madame Tussauds missed the mark …

Justin Bieber was on hand at Madame Tussauds of London today to unveil the teen idol’s wax likeness. May we suggest that fake Justin looks more like a younger brother.

An intensive session took place in New York four months ago, where hundreds of precise measurements were recorded. Hair and eye color and skin tone matching were part of a process that cost $300,000 from start to finish.

The 17-year-old singing sensation obviously underwent a growth spurt since late 2010. Photographers decided to elevate the wax likeness for some of the images so that the height difference wasn’t as glaringly noticeable during the photo call.

Normally Madame Tussauds asks the celebrity to dress in the same clothing as his or her wax-counterpart. In this case they may have decided that it would further showcase the glaring size difference between the wax boy and the real teen.

The last time that Madame T got it wrong was when they enhanced the already ample cleavage of reality star Kim Kardashian.
