Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson were chatting it up on Monday night at PaleyFest 2011 when someone asked about an upcoming American Idol performance by Aerosmith and Jennifer Lopez.
The newest AI judge looked at Randy and said: “Well … I thought it was a big secret, but I guess the cat is out of the bag.”
According to the rocker, he and the rest of his Aerosmith band mates haven’t decided on a song yet. While the details are still being sorted out, Executive Producer Ken Warwick confirms that judge Jackson will also jump up on stage and perform with the group.
If we had to guess, we’d say it will probably happen during the Idol finale, guaranteeing a ratings bonanza for a season that has yet to find its stride.
Perhaps the best finale featured judge Kara DioGuardi peeling off her clothing to reveal a truly smokin’ hot bikini moment. Now THAT was must see TV…
