Julianne Moore has been tapped to play the role of Sarah Palin in the HBO Film adaptation of Game Change, the tell-all book about the 2008 presidential election.
The film will feature screen actors, as yet unnamed, portraying Palin’s family members as well as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain. The film will delve into the high-tension campaign trail, giving views a behind-the-scenes look at what the public didn’t see.
One scene that is sure to play out is a soundbite from McCain advisor Steve Schmidt prior to a V.P. debate: “You guys have a lot of work to do. She doesn’t know anything.”
It is ironic that Moore happens to be an outspoken liberal who backed Obama during the election.
