Season 12 of the hit ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars begins on March 21, 2011. Eleven new celebrity contestants and their pro partners were announced on Monday night during The Bachelor.
The dance couples are: Chris Jericho, 40, and Cheryl Burke, Kirstie Alley, 60, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Wendy Williams, 46, and Tony Dovolani, Hines Ward, 34, and Kym Johnson, Mike Catherwood aka Psycho Mike, 31, and Lacey Schwimmer.
Also slated as partners: Romeo, 21, and Chelsie Hightower, Kendra Wilkinson, 25, and Louis Van Amstel, Chelsea Kane Staub, 22, and Mark Ballas, Ralph Macchio, 49, and Karina Smirnoff, Sugar Ray Leonard, 54, and Anna Trebunskaya, Petra Nemcova, 31, and Dmitry Chaplin.
Let’s take stock — a WWE wrestler, an NFL player, a radio personality, a Czech model, an Emmy-award winning actress, a retired pro boxer, a TV personality, a rapper, an actor, a Playboy model and a Disney star.
This season’s judging will be done by veteran’s Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman and Carrie Ann Inaba. Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke will return as co-hosts.
