Britney Spears is leaving the Calabasas mansion she has been renting and heading for the hills…Hidden Hills.
Spears is moving to a Tudor-style mansion in the western Los Angeles suburbs, but there is some question as to whether she purchased or leased the home.
The seller of the estate is Ron Tutor, chief executive of construction company Tutor Perini, and one of the new owners of Miramax Films. The property was listed for lease at $25,000 and for sale at $12.9 million after being reduced from $18.9 million.
The multi-winged, 19,107 square foot mansion sits on 3.39 acres, and has 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. There is also an entertainment complex with arcade, wood-paneled ballroom, fitness center, poker room, guest quarters and a couple of staff apartments.
The grounds include expansive private gardens, a sunken tennis court, and a swimming pool with grotto where the spa is located.
The gated equestrian community has its own Starbucks, supermarket and restaurants, and is home to other celebs, including the Kardashian/Jenner clan (who also moved from Calabasas), Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Melissa Etheridge, and Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.
