Jason Davis was arrested on Thursday night for possession of a controlled substance. Makes you wonder if Celebrity Rehab really works or if it’s just a convenient way for washed up celebs to make a quick buck?
The arrest comes one day after the Celebrity Rehab Reunion show aired. In the episode Dr. Drew drilled Davis about his sobriety. He did admit that he relapsed twice but claimed he had been clean for the past 90 days.
Davis said, “I went off to Newport and, well, let’s just say I started a new life, but I finally got it this time.”
The grandson of the late billionaire oil magnate Marvin Davis is currently being held on $20,000 bail.
Dr. Drew released the following statement: “Jason was honest about his struggles with his sobriety on the reunion show. Hopefully, now that there are legal consequences, further treatment will be mandated, which he so desperately needs. As I said when I saw him on Wednesday, we care for him very deeply and are here for him.”
