Shania Twain married Frederic Thiebaud on 1-1-11 …
Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud got married on New Year’s Day in Puerto Rico less than two weeks after confirming that they were engaged. The nups were intended to be private but a passerby recorded some of the festivities and managed to capture a few photos too.
According to the singer’s rep: “They were married at sunset in Rincon, Puerto Rico, in front of 40 of their closest family and friends.”
The country star posted a note on her website in December to share her good news: “I am excited to share some personal news with you; I’m in love! Frederic Nicolas Thiebaud has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend and over time, an amazing love has blossomed from the precious friendship.”
So who else got hitched on 1-1-11? Valerie Bertinelli and Tom Vitale.
