Absolutely stunning is what comes to mind when we look at the December cover of W magazine’s family issue. Actress Katherine Heigl and her 23-month-old daughter Naleigh are a photographers dream in this decidedly perfect pic.
Katherine’s sister Meg is Korean so the actress is hoping that Naleigh and her aunt can bond over their heritage and their adoption experiences.
How has Heigl adjusted to being a mother? She said: “You have this empathy suddenly – this compassion for a mother going through anything complicated or difficult with a child. It’s something I understand now – that unbelievable drive and instinct to protect.”
Heigl is married to musician Josh Kelley. The couple exchanged vows in December, 2007 in Park City, Utah. He is often on the road, making his homecomings a special event. They recently had a hot tub romp to celebrate his few days in L.A., but their frolicking brought police to the door. Heigl was wearing a skimpy bikini when officers arrived.
