Katy Perry was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. She participated in an amusing Bronx Beat sketch, showing a whole lot of cleavage while sporting her Elmo shirt.
The skit, with Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph, had Perry playing the role of Maureen, a teen who miraculously ‘developed’ over the summer.
It was a not so subtle nod to the fact that the musician recently filmed a Sesame Street video with Elmo, featuring a performance of Hot ‘N Cold that was to have aired on New Years Eve.
The film clip landed on YouTube and a firestorm of complaints by parents caused the shows producers to nix the idea. The sexy video has had over a million views.
