Wrestling celeb Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan has been hospitalized in Clearwater, Fl. for excruciating back pain. Turns out the 57-year-old and his girlfriend Jennifer were collecting seashells over the weekend and the constant bending aggravated an old injury.
Back issues are not new for the Hulk, who has had several back surgeries. The pain was so intense that the couple called 911 to dispatch an ambulance to his home.
He is being treated for what is believed to be a muscle tear and part of that treatment has been some super-duty painkillers.
While out of commission, Hogan has taken to his Twitter page to share the experience with his followers. Earlier this morning he ‘tweeted’: “4am can’t sleep. really. the szhitzs. Nurses decided after 3days of meds to help rest my back I didn’t need it anymore. cool, no sleep nobackrst.”
He posted a video shout-out to Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Duane Chapman and his wife Beth Chapman, who had their minister call the Hulkster to “get his head on straight” — watch below:
