Bristol Palin, a Season 11 celebrity contestant on the ABC hit reality show Dancing with the Stars, is shooting down rumors that she has taken on a diva role during the first week of rehearsals.
The teen mom said: “Literally, I was thinking about it today: the only thing I’ve ever asked for is a Velcro microphone pack so I don’t have to wear it on my belt loop. That’s the only thing I’ve ever asked for.”
Sarah Palin’s oldest daughter received her invite to appear on DWTS via text message. Within a week she had signed her contract. The 19-year-old plans to set a good example for young moms, and vows that her costumes will be conservative.
Palin is paired with pro dancer Mark Ballas, who knows how to get it done, having led Olympic athletes Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson to victory in Season 6 and Season 8.

If you wondered why there are fewer pro women than celebrities it is because Karina Smirnoff and her celeb partner Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, are still a no-show for rehearsals. We are being told that the shooting schedule for Jersey Shore has kept him on the East Coast longer than expected.
