Kanye West publicly apologized, via Twitter, admitting for a second time to Taylor Swift that he was sorry for stealing her spotlight. The first came shortly after the 2009 VMA telecast that turned his world into a firestorm of criticism.
Along with his three word apology, he also took a lot of time to ‘tweet’ other things, including, “I wish they all knew how much I really cared about music and pop culture and art and people’s feelings. I want to help starting with the music and ending with a smile”.
The reason for all these tweets? Apparently he said, “These aren’t regular tweets… this is a stream of consciousness… I want you guys to know and feel where my head is at. She deserves the apology more than anyone.”
Kanye also claims to have written a song for Taylor, but he says that if she won’t accept it, he will just have to perform it for her.
Sounds like he is laying the groundwork for a possible reunion next Sunday at the 2010 VMAs. World on the street is that show host Chelsea Handler wants to get the pair together on stage. What do you think?
