Sherri Shepherd was at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Vegas over the weekend for the 8th Annual Hoodie Awards. The event honored businesses and leaders in 12 categories, recognizing everyday efforts and strides in neighborhoods across the country.
Celebrities included Omarosa, Holly Robinson Peete, Joe Stone, Angie Stone, Dwele, Victoria Rowell, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, Lisa Raye, Kia Raye, Antonia Toya Carter, Michelean and Tank.
The highlight of the evening was a performance by Fantasia Barrino. The 26-year-old American Idol winner from 2004 brought the audience of 17,000 to their feet with her moving performance of old and new songs, including her single Bittersweet. Her third studio album Back to Me released last week.
Sherri, a popular co-host of The View who is known for her bravado, rocked a swimsuit on the show in August 2009.
