Timbaland called into Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show Wednesday morning to clear up reports of a “possible suicide attempt.”

According to a police report, Timbaland was the subject of a manhunt when his family became concerned after he jumped into his Escalade to take a drive. The music producer was reportedly upset over the theft of a $2 million dollar piece of jewelry stolen from his Malibu home.

TMZ reported that the Los Angeles Sheriff’s department put out a “possible suicide attempt APB just before 5pm PT Tuesday. A helicopter located Timbaland’s Escalade, and ground crews pulled him over. He was taken by patrol car to his home, where authorities spoke with him and family members. After an evaluation by paramedics, it was determined that Timbaland was not a threat to himself.

When Seacrest questioned Timbaland about yesterday’s events, he said, “I don’t know what happened to be honest with you. I don’t even know what people are talking about.”

Timbaland told Seacrest that a piece of jewelry was taken, but contrary to reports, it was not a watch. He also says there was no suicide attempt. “The only thing that I did was take a drive to figure out how I was going to handle ,” he says.
