Veteran actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was hospitalized on Saturday night after a fall at her home that resulted in a broken hip and several other injuries. The 93-year-old was watching Jeopardy on television from her bed when she attempted to answer a telephone call and fell to the floor.
Prince Frederic von Anhalt telephoned for an ambulance and his wife was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for treatment.
Family members are at her bedside but have declined to provide further details. She suffered partial paralysis in 2002 following a car accident, and reportedly had a stroke in 2005. Her equally famous sister Eva Gabor, of Green Acres fame, died in 1995.
The Hungarian born beauty has been married nine times and claims to be a good housekeeper, because every time she divorced, she kept the house.
Zsa Zsa has a daughter Francesca Hilton with her second husband Conrad Hilton. Gabor accused her only child of larceny and fraud in 2005. The daughter allegedly forged Gabor’s name on a $2 million loan that was taken out against Zsa Zsa’s Bel Air home. The case, filed by Zsa Zsa’s husband Fredric von Anhalt, was thrown out by the Santa Monica Superior Court because the actress refused to appear in court, nor would she sign an affidavit.
