Although the producers of “Machete” chose to cut jail bound actress Lindsay Lohan out of their movie trailer, they are using her in a poster to promote the movie.
Robert Rodriguez‘ exploitation flick will not rely on Lohan to promote the upcoming film — likely because she will be indisposed for anywhere from three to six months, depending upon how things pan out with her incarceration and rehab stints.
Just days after the star was sentenced to serve 90 behind bars, the poster above was released, causing controversy for Lilo once again.
Execs for the film say that Lohan only had a cameo in the movie and that is why she was left out of the trailer.
“Machete” is set to hit the big screen on September 3rd.
