NFL legend Lawrence Taylor was arrested in early May and charged with raping a 16-year-old prostitute. Lawrence claims that he did not lay a hand on the teen and that he only touched himself. He will be arraigned today in Rockland County Court.
The Hall of Fame linebacker was indicted for the rape of the child by a New York grand jury and will get an opportunity today to respond to the charges. Taylor, who could be imprisoned for up to four years if convicted, will reportedly plead not guilty to all five criminal charges.
The charges include: third-degree rape, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.
