The U.K. better get ready because Madonna is on her way back. The Material Girl will spend six months overseas this summer directing a film and is said to be bringing the kids along for the ride.
She and Alek Keshishian co-wrote “W.E.”, a biopic about the legendary affair between King Edward VIII and American Wallis Simpson. As director, Madonna has managed to secure a role for her daughter, 13-year-old Lourdes Leon. Also on board are Vera Farmiga and Abbie Cornish.
If Americans are sad to see her leave, we know for sure one person will be rejoicing over her arrival. Spending time at her London residence allows ex-husband Guy Ritchie more time with his children David Banda and Rocco Ritchie.
Madonna bought a $40 million townhouse a year ago, featuring 15 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. Rumor has it she cannot wait to return to her luxury apartment – see photos here.
We wonder if she will be bringing her boy-toy Jesus Luz along as well. That could be interesting. Madge, Lourdes, Jesus, David, Rocco, Mercy and Guy Ritchie — the paparazzi better prepare themselves.
