Back in 2007 rapper T.I. was arrested for trying to purchase firearms illegally. We’re guessing that as he looks back on all of that drama, he realizes the error of his ways. After serving time in prison and a halfway house, TIP was finally allowed to go home.
His sentence was supposed to end today, March 26th, and although he is back at home — there are some stipulations. For the next 23 days, the 29-year-old rapper is on “supervised release.” Simply put, T.I. has a curfew. He must be home every night by 11:00 p.m. and on the nights he is performing, the curfew is 1:00 a.m.
For those of you who have ever been to a Hip Hop concert, you know this is a very big deal because the artists don’t usually hit the stage until after 1:30 a.m. Oh TIP!
After his 23 days of supervision are over, the rapper will still not be completely off the hook. He has 400 community service hours left of the 1,500 he was originally sentenced to, and will remain on probation for 3 years. Looks like the King of The South better behave!
