So we are not sure if this makes sense or not, but…teen sensation Justin Bieber‘s manager surrendered to New York City authorities this morning for “failing to tweet.”

TMZ is reporting that Scott “Scooter” Braun turned himself over to police in response to a bench warrant on two misdemeanor counts; one for reckless endangerment and the other for criminal nuisance.

The charges stem from an incident that took place at Roosevelt Field Mall last November. Word is Justin was making an appearance and the fans caused a near riot — in fact, one girl was hospitalized for her injuries. Police asked Justin’s manager Scott to “tweet” that the event had been canceled but it seems Scooter refused.

If convicted of the charges, Braun could face one year in jail. There must be more to this…going to jail for not “tweeting” seems extreme.
