British reality TV star Jade Goody passed away in March from cervical cancer, one month after marrying Jack Tweed. He was arrested on September 4 and is being held on rape charges. Jack had an earlier brush with the law when he attacked a cab driver. That offense earned him 12 weeks behind bars shortly after Goody’s death.
London police received a complaint two days ago from a woman accusing Jack and two other men of assault. She told officers that the attack occurred in the early hours of Friday morning at Tweed’s home in Woodford Green, east of London. The woman reportedly went with the three men after meeting them at a central London club late Thursday night. Police have taken the men into custody.
Tweed, 22, has been detained and is being held until a September 21st hearing in Snaresbrook Crown Court.
