20-year-old actress Amber Heard stars as Baja Miller in the new film Never Back Down. Born in Austin, TX, Amber has played minor roles in various television shows and movies, getting her big break in the 2004 film Friday Night Lights.
In Never Back Down, Heard plays the love interest of the film’s protagonist, Jake Tyler, played by Sean Faris. The film, which showcases MMA (mixed martial arts for those of you not familiar with the hottest new ultimate fighting trend), will appeal to The Hills crowd, and those who didn’t fall in love with Amber as Alma in Alpha Dog, surely will now.
Never Back Down should help Amber achieve star status.
