When you are in prison, you quite naturally have a little extra time on your hands to try and come up with way to get sympathy. Blake Fielder-Civil called his wife Amy Winehouse on Friday and told her that he tried to hang himself from his bed with a piece of clothing.
How exactly do you hang yourself from your bed – maybe tried to choke himself would be a better description. Anyway, Amy was said to be torn apart over this until she found out that this was a lie. Now she is just confused.
Of course the speculation behind Blake’s claim is that he is worried now that Amy is getting clean that she will see that he is no good for her. We are all hoping that is the scenario but after hearing Winehouse give a shout out at the Grammy’s last night to her Blake, it sounds like she is still playing the game.
Officials at the prison where Blake resides said, “We can state 100 per cent that he has not been involved in any suicide attempt.”
