Tasha Layton, a personal assistant by day and minister by night, wowed the judges at American Idol Season 9 auditions in Los Angeles with her rendition of Joss Stone‘s Baby Baby Baby.
“I love a good Southern belle,” drawled guest judge Katy Perry.
“I think people may like you, Tasha” said Simon Cowell.
Layton, 26, is from Grenada Hills, CA.
