As expected, Sandra Bullock and Jeff Bridges took home Best Actress and Best Actor honors at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theater in L.A. on Sunday night.

Bullock won for her role in “The Blind Side” as a tough loving adoptive mom of a football player and Bridges won for his portrayal of a country singer in “Crazy Heart”.

“The Hurt Locker” stole the show with six awards, including best picture. Katherine Bigelow won the directing award and called it “a moment of a life time”.

The film ‘Precious’ was the sentimental favorite of the evening. Mo’Nique won best support actress honors and Gabourey Sidibe was nominated for Best Actress, with Oprah singing her praises on stage. Other actors from the film were Mariah Carey and Paula Patton.

Bullock also won two ‘Razzie’ awards on Friday night for worst picture and worst couple for her role in “All About Steve”. She was a good sport and showed up at the awards ceremony spoof–pulling a red wagon of DVD’s onto the stage.

Probably the most shocking event of the evening was the bizarre ‘Kanye’ highjack moment that occurred during Roger Ross Williams’ acceptance speech for ‘Music by Prudence’.
