Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin are slated to film a family camping trip in Alaska. TLC is reportedly going to shoot an episode of Kate Plus 8 in the Pacific Northwest stomping grounds of the former governor.

That means that 9-year-old twins Cara and Maddy, and their sextuplet siblings, 6-year-old Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Hannah and Alexis will all be hooking up with Sarah Palin to experience wildlife and the great outdoors first-hand.

Palin, under contract with TLC‘s Discovery Channel to do Sarah Palin’s Alaska, will be filming an episode for her show as well. We are told that her father, a retired Science teacher, and her brother, a third-grade educator, will be teaching the kids all about their temporary surroundings.

Previous road trips for the Gosselin brood have included numerous beach adventures, a Utah skiing trip and a dude ranch excursion for Kate and the boys. They have even tried a couple of camping stints — of the backyard variety.

Must see TV!
