Canadian animal handler and Animal Planet host Dave Salmoni has a new girlfriend. He appeared on the July 19, 2010 episode of Chelsea Lately, where it was confirmed that he is dating best-selling author and comedian Chelsea Handler.
Prior to coming on stage, Salmoni was introduced by show host Chelsea as “my rumored lover.” We’ve included the video footage after the jump.

Chelsea has more big news. She announced on her show yesterday that she has been tapped to host the VMAs on MTV next month.
