Joan Collins Hollywood Glam – through the years…
Veteran actress and author Joan Collins, 77, considers herself an authority on beauty. She played the role of the totally glam and flamboyant vixon Alexis Colby in the iconic #1 television series Dynasty from 1981-1989, and has written sixteen highly successful works of fiction and non-fiction.
Ever the vamp, she sat down for an interview with British magazine Hello! and had some definite opinions on the subject of beautiful women in Hollywood.
Collins remarked: “There aren’t that many good looking actresses around today. I mean, there’s Angelina Jolie and there’s….Angelina Jolie. Jennifer Aniston is cute, but I wouldn’t call her beautiful… The public is starved for gorgeous people. When I was young, everybody on screen was gorgeous.”
This conversation begs the question… is Joan correct in her assessment of Brad Pitt’s former wife and current life partner? Most everyone will agree that Angelina is in fact drop dead gorgeous. But Jennifer Aniston relegated to merely “cute” status? Really?
