Former teen idol Leif Garrett pleaded no contest to heroin possession charges on Friday and will enter a court-ordered drug rehab program in Los Angeles.

The 48-year-old singer was arrested Feb. 3 at the Pershing Square Metro subway station in downtown L.A. after cops noticed him “sweating and shaking profusely” while waiting to board a train.

Garrett allegedly confessed to having black tar heroin in his shoe, but pleaded not guilty to the charge when he was initially arraigned.

This was Garrett’s fourth drug-related arrest, and his second heroin-and-L.A.-subway-station-related arrest.

It was announced in July that he had joined the fourth season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, along with Rachel Uchitel and Janice Dickinson.
