Meet the new Wonder Woman ….
The classic 70’s Wonder Woman series is being resurrected. Tapped to play the role of the super-heroine is Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki.
The 27-year-old will balance her roles as a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles and a successful corporate executive named Diana Prince.
The pilot, pitched to all of the networks by Warner Bros. and writer-producer David E. Kelley, has been ordered by NBC.
The original Wonder Woman was Lynda Carter. Her iconic series spanned 1975-79. She made news in 2008 when she found a dead body floating in the Potomac River while she was out rowing. She will join a large group of celebrities turning 60 this year.
