Apology or in-your-face Lilo? Last night on the Late Show with David Letterman, the host offered up an “apology” to Lindsay Lohan and her family for the mix-up over her purported appearance.
Earlier in the week the show announced that Lindsay would appear via satellite to read the Top 10 list on Thursday night. Yesterday Lilo tweeted that she would NOT be on the show.

Word is that Michael Lohan was to blame for the mix-up and that he was the person in Lohan’s camp who called and booked her for the Thursday night show. It seems likely that her lawyer nixed the idea as a bad one while she is in the middle of a felony grand theft fiasco:
