Britney Spears hot new music video Hold It Against Me premiered on MTV February 17 and in true Britney fashion, it did not disappoint. If there is one thing the pop princess is good at, it’s making memorable videos.
Nobody will ever forget the school girl outfit in Baby One More Time, the red leather cat womanish suit in OOps I Did it Again, the oiled up bodies and killer dance moves in I’m a Slave For You, or the suicide scene in Everytime. With such amazing past videos many questioned if she could do it again… She did!
For the last two weeks Brit stirred up a lot of anticipation by giving glimpses of her video to her fans via Twitter. Fans were beyond excited, millions of people tweeted out reminders of the premiere date and HIAMVideoPremiere became a trending topic.
The new video has everything it needs to be successful — including a Britney vs Britney fight scene. She’s great at reinventing herself, and the video seems to say, this is the new me!
It’s artistic, creative and clearly had a big budget. Trying to explain it really does it no justice — it’s really something you just have to see for yourself.
