LA Clippers rookie Blake Griffin won the 2011 All-Star NBA Slam Dunk contest by jumping over a car on Saturday night and achieving victory with a two-handed slam dunk. The 21-year-old beat out Washington’s JaVale McGee.
The rookie make a remarkable leap over a 2011 Kia Optima and took a perfectly timed hand-off from Baron Davis, who was standing in the sunroof hatch.
Griffin was serenaded by the robe-clad Crenshaw Select Choir who sang I Believe I Can Fly.
