The head honchos at Warner Bros. are serious about keeping Two and a Half Men afloat and have developed a short list of possible replacements for their former star — the guy who was given the boot yesterday in an 11-page termination letter.
Word has it, via TMZ, that show creator Chuck Lorre is particularly interested in the possibility of putting Parks and Recreation star Rob Lowe in the character slot vacated by Charlie Sheen.
No word on whether the actor would be willing to opt out of his current gig as the Indiana State Auditor sent to Pawnee to review the town’s funds. The Season 3 finale is May 19, 2011 and all episodes are filmed. Will that show even get picked up for a Season 4?
The 46-year-old hunk comes with some baggage of his own. There was that 1988 explicit video controversy and who can forget the NannyGate debacle of 2008? Hey… that bad boy persona actually makes him perfect to take over where Charlie left off. Hired!
