This rooftop party may land Lohan back in the slammer …
Lindsay Lohan, who was fitted with a SCRAM bracelet and put on house arrest May 26, reportedly tested positive for alcohol after hosting a rooftop barbecue for friends. Two tests were administered, on June 12 and June 13, and she passed one and failed the other.
The actress will stand before Judge Stephanie Sauter at the LAX Airport Courthouse on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. to determine her fate for violating the terms of her probation. The no-alcohol order was set by Judge Elden Fox, who presided over her DUI case.
The Los Angeles Probation Dept., upon learning that Lohan was holding rooftop parties, attempted to force her to take two tests in May but her lawyer, Shawn Holley, refused the request with claims that it wasn’t part of her probation. That turned out to be an error on Holley’s part.
The L.A. Probation officials sprung back-to-back tests on Lohan ten days ago and she failed one of them.
Matt Lauer, co-host of the Today Show, reported this morning that he and a film crew were supposed to do a sit down interview with Lindsay Lohan on Tuesday, that was to have aired this morning. When they arrived at Lohan’s Venice Beach home, they were turned away without a clear understanding of why Lindsay had changed her mind.
The piece was supposed to show the troubled celeb in a positive light, but the timing turned out to be disastrous for the Lohan camp. Any hope of a positive spin would have backfired at this point. The Today Show crew headed back to Manhattan and Lohan is likely headed back to jail for the violation.
Will Lilo’s latest debacle affect the golden opportunity that she was given with a plum role in the upcoming Gotti biopic? We’re guessing that is what she is most worried about at this point.
