Sex in the City star Kristin Davis has welcomed a new little lady. The actress and baby Gemma Rose became mother and daughter several months ago via domestic adoption.
Davis shared the exciting news with PEOPLE, “This is something I have wanted for a very long time. Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed.”
Davis is a global ambassador for Oxfam and a patron for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Her latest film project, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, is slated to hit theaters in February 2012.
