Things got interesting on Sunday at the Frys.com Open in San Martin, California when a flying hot dog came sailing across the green while Tiger Woods was putting on hole number seven.
An inebriated man shouted “Tiger, Tiger” as he raced across the green while tossing a wiener and bun at the PGA golfer.
Security personnel at CordeValle quickly hauled the offender away and he was later arrested by police.
After the round, Woods said, “When I looked up, the hot dog was already in the air. He was pretty far away from me.”
Undoubtedly rattled by the encounter, Woods missed the birdie putt.
