Lindsay Lohan has finally fulfilled her probation obligations according to Judge Stephanie Sautner.

The saga began nearly five years ago. Sautner characterized the long and painful legal journey as “the endless 2007 DUI case.”

Having finished her community service obligations and court-mandated psychological therapy sessions, the actress has been released from formal probation. There is one proviso–she must now obey all laws for 2-1/2 years of informal probation.

Her Honor remarked, “I know it’s kinda hard when people are following you all over the place … but that’s the life you chose.” As a parting comment she offered Lohan some advice, “Stop nightclubbing and focus on your work.”

Lohan, dressed in a teal Givenchy pantsuit, was glowing as she made her way from the courthouse.
