The Donald Trump Organization has been ousted from their management role as overseers of the high rise Hudson River condominium complex Trump Place that features 300 apartments.

The Hudson River property will now be managed by AKAM Living Services, a firm who currently presides over some well known luxury buildings in Manhattan, including Central Park West, Fifth Avenue and West End Avenue.

Real estate mogul Donald Trump‘s general counsel Sonja Talesnik commented, “We certainly would have been willing to discuss the concerns of the board if they had contacted us. They gave us no indication that they were looking to change management agents.”

According to Anna Fishbeyn, VP of the Trump Place board: “We’ve been waiting for their services to improve for years. And when they didn’t we started investigating other services. I have received email after email thanking me for the decision.”

The change takes place effective November 1.
