Warner Bros. has opted not to renew Anderson Cooper‘s daily talk show ‘Anderson Live’ for a third season due to lack in ratings.

The popular CNN journalist released this statement, “I am very proud of the work that our terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining our show for two seasons. I look forward to doing more great shows this season, and though I’m sorry we won’t be continuing, I have truly enjoyed it.”

The syndicated talk show will remain on the air through the summer of 2013.

In his role as host of Anderson Cooper 360, the 45-year-old broadcaster is currently covering Hurricane Sandy. He tweeted earlier today, “I will be along the New Jersey shore tonight.”
