Jennifer Lawrence is the latest celebrity to chop off her long hair in favor of a sleek short hairdo.
The ‘Hunger Games’ actress posts several new photos on her Facebook page. She captioned one image, “Headed up north for #GLOBALFANDAY with The Hunger Games Catching Fire cast. Follow this page all day for updates!”
Her traveling companions for the day are co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth plus ‘Hunger Games’ director Francis Lawrence. The group took part in a Q & A session.
Lawrence, 23, was named by Time in 2013 as one of the 100 most influential people in the world and ELLE magazine named her the most powerful woman in the entertainment business.
The Academy Award-winning actress shared this black and white photo that she captioned, “Testing out Google Glass before the global hangout. #globalfanday #catchingfire”
Other actresses who have recently flaunted their shorn locks include Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Hudson and Pamela Anderson. Beyonce tried the look too but immediately experienced hair remorse– quickly opting for hair extensions.
You’ll be able to catch the next installment of Jennifer as Katniss Everdeen in theaters November 22, 2013. The actress is currently filming ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.” Part 1 will hit theaters in 2014 and Part 2 in 2015.
