‘Hunger Games’ actress Jennifer Lawrence posed in a backless Christian Dior gown featuring a beaded panel in London during the premiere of ‘Catching Fire.’
It was the first red carpet event attended by the Academy Award-winning star since she chopped off her long blonde hair in favor of a new cropped look.
She wore it straight back for a sleek gamine look — shades of Peter Pan. Dare we suggest the new ‘do makes her look years younger than 23?
When asked what prompted her to change up her hairstyle, she stated that it had been at an awkward length and immediately apologized to the reporter for not having a better sound bite to share.
She claims to be a real homebody since winning an Oscar for Best Actress in ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ in Feb. 2013. She admits, “It still makes me a little emotional, just to see how quickly everything kind of changes … that it changes so fast.”
Lawrence will be hitting a number of world premiere events over the next few weeks. We look forward to seeing what she has up her sleeve on the red carpet.
