Chris Brown was in court yesterday to provide a probation progress report in the Rihanna case. Suffice to say, the judge wasn’t having any of his BS.
His Honor ordered Brown to check into a court approved anger management rehab facility for a 90-day in patient stint, where he will be subjected to random drug testing and must begin taking prescription drugs recommended to help with his anger management issues.
The hip hop artist was recently kicked out of a Malibu rehab center just two weeks after he checked in following a fight that took place in front of the W Hotel in Washington D.C. at the end of October.
During his most recent attempt at rehab, the singer’s mother showed up for a family session and urged her son to stay in the program for extended treatment. It apparently didn’t sit well with Chris because he threw a rock through her car window as she was getting ready to leave after the heated session.
He was ultimately thrown out after flying into a violent rage. A follow up report from the rehab facility states that without continued therapy and a strong recovery support group, his prognosis is “very guarded.”
Chris has a date with another judge in Washington D.C. to answer charges in his pending criminal assault case. The cross country trip was approved yesterday by the L.A. judge. The outcome of his latest legal problems could result in his probation being yanked and a trip to jail.
