Somehow, the Amanda Bynes saga continues to get weirder.
If you haven’t been keeping up, here’s a quick recap:
Amanda was arrested for DUI last week after stopping her car in the middle of an intersection. Since then, Amanda’s been spotted talking to herself, wearing giant bandages on her face for no reason, and generally behaving bizarrely.
As strange as all that is, the whole sad saga took its weirdest turn yet today, when Amanda claimed to be engaged to “Caleb.”
Amanda claims Caleb is a 19-year-old bait shop employee from Southern California. However, he’s almost certainly a figment of her imagination.
“I am very needy for friendship and I hate men. I want to f–k them, but I can now say I’m engaged … get away from me,” Amanda said in a bizarre, rambling interview with In Touch. “I want to be married and I want to be away from people.”
Yeah…scaring off other men sounds like a perfectly good reason to get married.
Fortunately or unfortunately, the whole thing is almost certainly made up. TMZ reports that Amanda’s family has never heard of a Caleb and she’s never said anything about getting engaged.
Sounds like imaginary Caleb may have dodged a bullet!
