The story of Teresa Giudice continues to get sadder by the day.
With just days to go until she turns herself in to begin serving a 15-month prison sentence for fraud, the polarizing Real Housewife has reportedly resorted to some desperate measures.
First we learned that Teresa is still lying to her kids about her upcoming stint at Club Fed:
“Teresa and Joe are telling the girls that she is going away to work,” a source tells Radar Online. “She told them she is going to jail to work on a book about jail.”
The insider adds that Teresa’s oldest daughter, Gia, knows the score, but her youngest three think mom is just heading off on a long business trip.
Before that trip begins, of course, Teresa is doing everything she can to cash in one last time. As you might have guessed, it’s not going so well:
“She was looking for paid holiday photo gigs with her family and personal appearances,” a source tells Radar Online. “She is trying to pocket all the money she can before heading off to the big house.”
“We’re told no one even wanted her for press on New Year’s Eve.”
Yes, her last holiday with her kids was spent trying to score a quick buck for doing nothing. It’s fitting, in a way.
