Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are facing backlash over their kinky sex life from hardcore conservatives who are scandalized by it.

Now, they’re both being put on blast by a very different crowd after fans questioned whether Jill is neglecting her children’s educations.

Derick started touting Jill’s alleged college credentials, which was impressive … until fans started to take a closer look.

Derick Dillard had a blast over the long weekend, and took to Instagram to share what he’d been up to.

"Enjoyed celebrating the long 4th of July weekend with the fam in Little Rock!" the disgraced former Counting On star announced.

Being reminded of Derick and Jill’s children, Samuel and Israel, some fans were quick to criticize the couple.

"Taught by a mom with a sixth grade education at best," accused one follower.

"Jill did Boyce College," Derick asserted in the comments.

He then taunted the commenter: “She’s probably got more college credits than you."

"Jill did college?" asks one incredulous follower after seeing Derick’s claim.

"Yes," Derick replies, adding a smiley face emoticon, possibly representing pride.

A curious fan asks: "What did she take?"

"Systematic Theology, Old Testament, New Testament, etc," Derick replies.

Given that Boyce College is a private Christian college known for its extremely hardcore approach to conservative Christianity, that’s not a shocker.

However, upon reading Derick’s answers, some were quick to challenge his claim that this made Jill college educated.

"That is not higher education that is bible class lol," accused one comment.

"So," Derick replied rhetorically. "If someone has a degree in theology they have no higher education?!"

Notably, he does not at any point claim that his wife has a degree, merely that she took classes and acquired college credits.

Taking college classes can be a big deal no matter what, but it’s not clear how Jill’s experience is supposed to have prepared her to be an educator.

Other fans quickly rushed to Jill’s defense, citing that she is (allegedly) a midwife.

"That’s not college," countered one fan. "CPMs are NOT real midwives."

The follower noted: "They aren’t allowed to practice at any hospitals because their education is subpar."

"CNMs are highly educated," the comment explains. "And she didn’t go to school for that."

Also, being a midwife is just not the same as having a degree in education.

Another follower points out that "she didn’t go to any sort of nursing school or College."

"And," that same comment argues. "The midwife Jill was practicing under had her own licence revoked due to unsafe practice."

"She is only a ‘midwife’ to her sisters," the comment concludes. "Who are willing to risk their lives in childbirth."

Trusting your family with your life and your baby’s life is a pretty hefty risk.

Jill being trusted is a great honor, we’re sure, but that doesn’t mean that she’s certified to do that for just anyone.

Derick citing Jill having taken theology classes is a little like saying "yeah I went to State" when you only visited the school to sell weed.

Still, strictly speaking, Derick may have stated things in a misleading way but he did not lie.

The original point brought up by multiple fans remains, however.

Jill is not a qualified educator and cannot possibly offer her children the opportunities they deserve as human beings.

Sadly, that is nothing new for the Duggars, who rely upon isolating their children from the real world in order to maintain control.

Jill received that from Jim Bob and Michelle, and it looks like she’s now paying it forward.
