Late last month, model Sydney Chase described an alleged affair with Tristan Thompson.
Tristan, intent upon saving his relationship with Khloe, claims that it's a lie.
Sydney is now fighting back and has hired a high powered attorney to fight back.
Sydney Chase is a drop-dead gorgeous 23-year-old model.
She has secured high-profile attorney Gloria Allred.
Sydney is fighting back against Tristan's accusation that she "lied" about a sexual relationship that spanned months.
About a week ago, Tristan secured the services of a legal team.
Through them, he alleged that there was "no truth" to her story.
He issued a cease-and-desist notice, demanding that Sydney STFU.
Hollywood lawyer Marty Singer wrote on Tristan's behalf.
Specifically, the cease-and-desist noticed claimed that Sydney had made "numerous false and defamatory statements."
“It is obvious that you are a liar,” the documents cattily accused Sydney.
The letter added that "your claim that you had a relationship with Mr. Thompson is pure fiction."
"The purported texts you claim exist are equally fictitious," the cease-and-desist accused.
"And," it continued, "they put words in my client's mouth that he never said."
Allegedly, these were words "that are contrary to his thoughts and feelings."
"This is defamatory," the missive accused.
Sydney's description of Tristan's penis was very flattering, but apparently he felt otherwise.
So now, Sydney is defending herself by hiring Gloria Allred.
The famous attorney issued a statement to Page Six about this case and her client.
"Our client, Sydney Chase, is outraged," Allred began.
Sydney is outraged "at what she regards as false statements."
These are statements "that have been made about her in the media by Tristan Thompson’s representatives."
Allred affirmed: “She has retained my law firm, Allred, Maroko & Goldberg, to represent her."
"And," Allred continued, "to conduct a full investigation."
The statement added: "which she believes will substantiate the relationship between her and Tristan Thompson.”
In fact, she says that this is basically what Tristan was asking for.
“Mr. Thompson’s representatives have challenged her to reveal evidence of their relationship," Allred noted.
"We would be willing to share evidence that Sydney has given us," she promised.
Allred noted that this is "provided that Mr. Thompson will make himself available in person."
Allred said that Tristan must make himself available "to answer my questions."
"And," she added, "provide us with documents that we request."
“If Mr. Thompson has nothing to hide, then we would expect that he will make himself available for questioning by me," Allred said.
"And," Allred anticipated, "that he will voluntarily provide the documents."
She noted that "Sydney would be willing to be present at this meeting."
Sydney, at least, is willing "to answer questions and provide documents."
"Khloe Kardashian is welcome to attend," Gloria Allred's statement promised.
"We believe that the truth will emerge through this process," she affirmed.
"When we conclude our investigation," Allred stated, "we will then advise Sydney regarding her legal options.”
Previously, Sydney Chase has affirmed on Instagram that she is not a liar.
She stated her intention to not quietly disappear despite the letter from Tristan's attorney.
"I’m moving forward with the truth & am choosing not to comply," she announced.
“I will not be called a liar,” Sydney strongly emphasized.
When Page Six asked if she had evidence for her claims, she answered in the affirmative.
“Yes, I obviously do," she affirmed, "but this is now a legal matter that lawyers will handle. Thanks.”
