What happens when your BFF is being framed for murder? And you know she’s being framed? Only you possess no evidence?
This was the question facing the gals on Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 14, as the ABC Family drama returned with a strong, shocking installment.
How did Hanna answer this question? By asking Mrs. Grunwald to host a supernatural kiki, which only resulted in more confusion.
As for Emily? She came up with the idea of planting Alison’s hair at the crime scene in order to frame her, which Spencer had to remind her pal is, you know, “an actual crime.”
But whatever. Desperate times, desperate measures and all that. Emily went through with it anyway… only to discover a conveniently planted camera in the vent in Mona’s living room.
Fortunately, this camera contained a video of Mona’s actual attack. And then Alison’s brother admitted he lied about her alibi, hey, look at that: the police hauled Ali off in the back of a paddywagon. She’s been arrested!
Elsewhere: Following weeks of uncertainty, Page and Emily shippers witnessed a lovely scene between these young women, although it may not have gone the way some wanted it to:
Paige took a flight to Atlantic City in order to escape her terrible life in Rosewood, with Emily supporting her decision and making it clear she’s even a bit jealous.
"She got out," Emily told her friends.
We also saw Mike Montgomery do more than just lift weights for a change; he showed serious emotion, breaking down along with Aria toward the end of the hour.
Go ahead and watch Pretty Little Liars online to see how much he clearly loved Mona.
What do you think, though, PLL lovers? Did Alison actually kill Mona and Bethany? Is this really is for Paige and Emily?
Ponder these possibilities as you prepare for Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 15, "Fresh Meat," to air next Tuesday at 8/7c.
