For Tea Leoni and Tim Daly, life is imitating art.
The actress and the actor, who you can see as a married couple when you watch Madam Secretary online, are now a real-life couple, according to multiple media outlets.
Leoni split from David Duchovny, her husband of 17 years, this past August.
But People Magazine confirms that the star and Daly have been quietly dating since around that time; she was spotted at his play in Vermont over July Fourth weekend, not long after their new CBS drama had started filming.
Daly divorced his ex-wife of 26 years, Amy Van Nostrand, in 2010.
On Madam Secretary, which premiered in September, Leoni portrays a Secretary of State named Elizabeth McCord. Daly portrays her supportive husband.
The two actually both attended Putney School, a boarding school in Vermont, back in the day.
“We had a few of the same teachers, which is really crazy,” Daly told E! News in July, also referring at the time to Leoni as a “good kid.”
